Company background

Deneb Software Engineering was founded by three software engineers in 1995. During the first years we grew organically until we were caught up in the bursting IT bubble of 2000.

Our main focus has always been consulting services but we have also invested in our own software product development since 1999. 

Over the years we have provided services, on site and remotely, to both medium sized local companies as well as large global corporations. We have a tradition of maintaining long time relationships with our customers and the systems we deliver.

Since 2002 we have worked mainly with providing users with information through web technology, using a full-stack approach. In the later part of 2015 we started working on Pulsar Flex together with a customer/partner. Development, maintenance and support for Pulsar Flex is now our main focus.

The name Deneb

Deneb (/ˈdɛnɛb/), is the brightest star in the constellation of Cygnus. It is the 19th brightest star in the night sky, with an apparent magnitude of 1.25. A blue-white supergiant, Deneb is also one of the most luminous stars. However, its exact distance (and hence luminosity) has been difficult to calculate; it is estimated to be somewhere between 55,000 and 196,000 times as luminous as the Sun. Source: Wikipedia
